Our Music Together Experience
We have been taking Music Together for almost 7 years. Throughout the years we have had so much fun, made new friends and learned and experienced music in so many exciting ways. It has been a wonderful family experience everyone has enjoyed and benefited from in so many ways. Both my children and I have learned a lot about music all in a fun way. We especially liked the parent envlovement and the mixed age classes. How often do you REALLY PLAY with your children? Each class is a great opportunity to interact and have fun with your kids. You don't have to have any musical talent to participate so we could experience and learn together. And because you are learning the same thing then you have that to share throughout the week also. And the mixed age classes worked especially well in our family so all the kids were sharing something fun together. At home they would hold there own Music Together class with their teddy bears in a circle and they would each take turns leading songs and being the teacher. At a very young age all my children would start singing the Music Together songs in their cribs. It is a program that has many parts to it so that you can really take off and elaborate on the ones that really click with your kids. I asked all my kids what they liked best about their Music Together Experience.
Kevin - age 3 - he really likes all the music. Listening to it in the car and at home and then hearing the familiar songs in class and doing different things with the music.

Eileen - age 5 - likes experiencing all the different things you can do with the songs in class. Then making up new words to the songs about things we do at home like the teacher would often suggest.
Megan - age 7 - always liked dancing and moving to the music in class. Went through a time where every night we would pull out a music together songbook and we would sing the songs, talk about the pictures and the written music notes.
