Our Story

Linda Criscitello began Music Together of Vienna in January 2002 with only 24 families at the Town of Vienna Community Center. The program quickly grew (mostly through "word of mouth") and Gail Browne joined Linda to add weekend classes at VCC. Soon after, Anne Motz and Jennifer Nickl added their talents to the staff and we were able to expand in Vienna as well as open in Reston. Now, we've grown to include seven locations with over 250 families in Vienna, Reston, Herndon and Fairfax. Each semester, more than half of our enrollment is from returning families, and it brings great joy not only to see each child find unique ways to discover his or her own musicality, but to see many parents and caregivers rediscover their love for making music as well.
